A Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon, Dr. J. Russell Burcham, M.D., is a 1975 graduate of the University of Missouri with clinical and academic honors. He conducted his residency in Family Practice at the University of Alabama and his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado. He has continued his further education in many post graduate courses in Refractive surgery.

Dr. Burcham specializes in medical and surgical treatment of the eye. He has practiced in the Denver Metro area since 1979. He is married, resides in Littleton and is active in church and outdoor endeavors.

Dr. Jost

Dr. Jost sees patients of all ages for Primary Eye Care. He specializes in the fitting contact lens. Dr. Jost grew up in Dickinson, North Dakota and graduated from Dickinson State University with a Major in Biology in 2001. He went on to graduate from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 2005. He came to Colorado following Optometry School to pursue job opportunities.

Dr. Jost knew he wanted a career in Optometry in high school. That’s when he was fitted with his first pair of glasses and “wow” he could see clearly again. From then on, he wanted to help other people see their world clearly again as well. Dr. Jost loves the outdoor Colorado lifestyle and enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors.
