Cataract Patients have more options today than they did just a couple of years ago. The lens options that are offered today give the patient additional ways to improve their vision beyond just removing the cataract.
Dr. J. Russell Burcham offers his patients
three lens options.
Option #1:
This option is to select the standard IOL (Intraocular lens) for their lens replacement.
Option #2:
The second option is the upgraded Tecnis lens. This lens is the first and only IOL approved by the FDA to improve your functional vision in low light situations—including night driving. This provides a meaningful safety benefit for most older drivers. If you can see things sooner, you can react and stop more quickly.
Option #3:
The third option is the upgraded ReZoom lens. This multi-focal lens with its many optical design enhancements can offer patients a full range of vision and greater independence from glasses or contact lenses. Clinical studies show that 92% of those receiving the ReZoom lens technology “never”, or “only occasionally,” need to wear glasses.
If you suffer from poor vision or think you might have a cataract, you should make an appointment to have a complete eye examination. At that time Dr. Burcham will determine if you are a candidate for a Standard, Technis, orReZoom lens . You will be given additional information about the benefits, possible risks, complications and costs involved in the procedure. Don’t wait one more day struggling with poor vision due to a cataract. Call today for a cataract evaluation appointment (303) 340-4600. This appointment is considered a medical eye exam and is covered by your medical insurance.
